Beautiful Alcudia Beach and Coast
One of the main draws of Alcudia is the beautiful white sand beach with Blue Flag status. The sands are long, clean and shallow, so children and kids can paddle and play. Loungers, umbrellas and facilities are along the beach, with plenty of places to get snacks and drink. Water sports with windsurfing, snorkelling and activities are available towards Playa Deportivo near the port. Families spend days soaking up the sun, while friends enjoy fun on the water and relaxing time on the sands.
Charming Old Town and Markets
Apart from the beach, Alcudia old town is full of charm and history. Medieval walls are around streets, squares and ancient sites. Markets fill the town on market days, with stalls selling handmade crafts and produce. You wander winding streets, watch street activities and find traditional Spanish eateries. Historic churches, architecture and the town charm make the old town a fascinating change from the beach.
Family Attractions and Days Out
Alcudia is good for family holidays with attractions around the resort. Hidropark waterpark is just by the centre, with slides, fast rides, a wave pool and pools for smaller children. Families spend a full day at the park with games, fun and places to eat. Palma Aquarium is another popular attraction on the island, with thousands of marine species and activities. Between the beach, the old town and attractions, families never get short of things to do.
