Ovacik Holidays

All inclusive Ovacik holidays are along Turkey’s Mediterranean Coast on its south west side. The town is becoming quite a built up holiday resort but it is mainly for the attractions outside it that people take holidays here. All inclusive Ovacik holidays are only a mile away from Olu Deniz town and the Blue Lagoon.

All Inclusive Ovacik Ovacik style

The Blue Lagoon is a small circular inlet neighbouring the postcard perfect town of Olu Deniz. The town’s name in Turkish means “Dead Sea” as the unique lagoon offers perfect blue tranquil waters due to the shade from wind and currents. Ovacik holiday makers flock to the lagoon for its unique appearance and charm. You can lie around its sand fringed circumference all day until it closes at 6pm. To get there catch the dolmus from the nearest bus stop on Ovacik holidays down to Olu Deniz or alternatively travel in the opposite direction to Fethiye about 10 or 11 miles away. A main road runs from Olu Deniz through Ovacik to Fethiye and dolmus and bus services stop along here regularly.

The Extra Bits

Fethiye is a rural town with a nice bay and harbour area. If you travel down to Fethiye on a Friday from all inclusive Ovacik holidays you can visit the local market where locally produced fruit and vegetables are sold. These foodstuffs include apricots, chickpeas, almonds, mulberries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, peppers, aubergines and pistachios. For a bit of history on all inclusive Ovacik holidays you can visit the Fethiye Museum that is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
